As usual these days, it was caught on video:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/8430406.stm

I suppose that I should feel sorry for the old man. I don't. I find the video very amusing, the sight of that silly old bastard in his mediaeval robes hitting the ground is just what I need today. :)

Happy Christmas.

If the Pope doesn't want to be knocked over he shouldn't dress as a skittle.
Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table, because the only element he recognizes is the element of surprise.

My spelling is very good thanks. Look up the word at the Cambridge dictionary and then come back here and apologise. In your own time.

From the Oxford dictionary.

medieval
(also mediaeval)

• adjective 1 relating to the Middle Ages. 2 informal very old-fashioned or outdated.

— DERIVATIVES medievalize (also medievalise) verb medievally adverb.

— ORIGIN from Latin medium aevum ‘middle age’.

 Poor old Popey. The cardinal that broke his hip wasn't so funny, nor was the incredibly over dramatised flashback to pope attacks of the past, but the big hat going flying was hilarious.
