Is this a good place to ask if there is any recording of the Sunbury gig that Queen did in Melbourne in 1974. No-one can seem to find it, although I have heard that it exists in a vault 'somewhere' in Channel 7 or ABC archives. Apparently the archiving is not too good there, so no-one wants to go looking for it.
Mikespit? Anyone?

Yes it DOES exist, but it's VERY rare in the trading world so it's nothing you can download somewhere.

I assume it's something in your collection for you to make such a bold statement?

Also to the previous posts (Mike's) is it OK to add scans of the covers of these boots here or is that a 'no no'? I guess they would be better in the TAOQ forum and linked here?

Yes it's known to exist in the Australian radio/TV staion archives. That wasn't my question. :(

Have you a) heard it, or b) seen a hard copy (LP/CD) ?

Why do collectors think their knowledge is to be kept secret? Power mad!

"Screenshots" of what? Could have been a mock up. I've seen plenty of those.

Heard audio "samples" ? How were they identifiable as the show you are led to beleive it was?

As you've only seen a sample, then there is no real guarentee that the whole gig exists outside the archives.

What generation did you see?

P.S. Have you seen the unedited version (with time code) or an edited version with TV logo?

no idea about the generation sorry, but the film had neither time code or TV logo.
