This is a public forum. I'm sure others would like to know also.
I don't mean names of your personal sources, but if on vinyl / CD, the original manufacturer etc.

Well, all audience recordings were recorded on tape and the professional recordings were recorded either by TV, for documentation or by the band.

I mean the disk information such as pressing plant etc. Which TV stations, when etc...if on a vinyl disk or CD. If all you have are audio tapes then your list is hardly going to be definative.

None of my recordings are on cassettes or vinyl, just on CD-rs. I don't have information about all sources but I can add some of them later. Btw, I haven't got all of the items listed, the items listed are recordings that is known to exist.

So how do you know which are Audience and which are Soundboard if all you have are multi-genearation copies?

Maybe you should buy Hot Wacks or Voigts Price-guide To Bootlegs - might give you an insight.

I have reliable sources that you don't need to question. And I can hear the difference between a soundboard recording and an audience recording.

Btw, all my recordings aren't multi-generation copies. These days you can actually transfer from mastertape to CD.

...but I want to know (not question). There's obviously something illegal going on if you're this cagey so I don't want to know.

You don't appear to be someone trust-worthy considering your secretive responses to simple questions.

Bootlegging is illegal indeed, but that's not a secret. I know that the recordings I listed are SBD or AUD, and you could get that information from various sources. What I don't know is from where all the recordings were taken from.

In Russia for instance bootlegging is not illegal. German and Italy have relaxed laws which don't often prosecute so to all intent and purposes allow illegal circulation of unofficial recording.

Each county has their own national copyrights law and it will be a long time before their is an international law that outlaws all bootlegging. Take www.allofmp3.com a commercial site openly selling (for download) songs they don't own nor have a licence to distrubute. They've been trading for at least 2 years with no sign of anything being don't to curtail their neferious activities.

At your age you really need to get your facts correct before you post them publically whilst a the same time announcing that you deal in bootlegs and claim to know what they are, but don't know their source. Trading is often the cover for illegal dealing and if you don't realise that then you're far more innocent than I realised. You need to grow up and smell the plastic before you get your fingers burnt. :D

Game Over.

Most of the recordings I listed are from several sources and from various bootleg names with different quality and generations. Some recordings aren't even from any pressed bootlegs. I'll update the list in the near future.

Trading CD-r discs are as illegal as trading manufactured bootlegs in most countries, so yes I'm doing illegal business, but it's the only way to get hold of the recordings. I don't want to buy bootlegs, because that's morally wrong.
