The Invisible Man

I remember that Roger mentioned it in an interview somewhere, maybe it was the 1989 Radio 1 interview, that the song was inspired by a book he was reading. Does anyone know definitively what book he meant? It sounds very much like Memoirs of an Invisible Man . The timing fits. The book would have ju...

Re: The Miracle Box set

I always found it a bit strange that Miracle is getting a boxset. Right you are, sir.

I have still not heard it, other that a couple of bits on YouTube. From what I'm hearing, I haven't missed much.

"Taylor and May returned to touring in 2011, with Adam Lambert on vocals in place of Mercury, and they have once again become one of the highest-grossing live acts in the world."

Return of the Champions was also filmed in HD. I would prefer to have that on blu-ray, to be honest.

But those two old farts don't want anything to do with the QPR project anymore. Sad.

Re: What Were They Thinking?

Listened to Night at the Opera on Spotify the other day. Seaside Rendezvous? It is embarrassingly sickly sweet. The Prophet Song - The vocal interlude is rather boring. Great song that didn't need the middle part. The Prophet's Song is a track that's just begging for a radio edit. But as far as Sea...

Roger Waters was inspired to write The Wall from a dream of an audience being bombes to pieces and loving it. And the hammers are a very prominent image in The Wall.
