Lennon sings Queen

I Just came across a video on YouTube of John Lennon singing a Queen Medley. My guess Is It's a fake recording but sounds like John. Has anyone heard this recording? And do you think It's legit?

Re: The Game 40th anniversary box set.

A wise musician of a famous band, that often changed members, once said it best: "A band is a spirit. And as long as this "spirit" is there, it doesn't matter how many "original" members are in the band". That is very true. Without spirit there is nothing. But with Lambert - I'm just hearing someon...

Re: Did you buy Live Around the World?

Of course if I was In lamberts position I would do the same lol. I also think he's a good guy and could sing, so I'm not hating, but His fans really think Lambert saved Queen and Is on the level Of Mercury. That's my Issue. Trust me I had my fill of Lambert fans and many think Mercury Is below Adam....

Re: Did you buy Live Around the World?

.Kes mentioned Elvis. The difference Is Elvis sang old blues songs that weren't famous and made them famous with his voice.. Lambert Is singing songs that are already legendary. The originals will always be the popular version. Lambert has no Identity Is basically what I'm saying.

Re: Did you buy Live Around the World?

In 50 years Lambert will be forgotten..His fame Is based on songs that Freddie either wrote or made famous with his voice. Too say Lambert might not be on the level of Freddie as a writer is an understatement. The man Is almost 40 and has never written anything that's considered good.

Re: The Miracle Box set

I don’t care how long the Miracle boxset takes to release as long as it is released eventually. I can be very patient. It at least gives me time to save up for it (what’s it going to cost £90+?). I know it’s not fashionable to love that album but I do, it’s special to me so I’ll be eager to buy it ...

Barcelona

I Just wanted too make a thread on one of my favorite records. A true Highlight for me. On par with classic Queen, and Freddie should get more recognition for his role In popularizing Opera crossover. Andrea Bocolli has stated how Important that record was for the rock meets Opera world.

Re: QPR vs QAL

This. I like Paul, but I can't see him singing Too Much Love and Somebody To Love. Spread Your Wings Could of been good. His blues style might have fit the Lryics of the song. To be honest when Q+AL started I couldn't imagine Lambert singing the heavier Queen songs. Sure he can sing them, to sing w...

Re: News of the World Discussion

As it seemed to me at a concert in Montreal in 1981, he was no longer as energetic as he had previously performing this song. Don't forget that at Montreal the audience wasn't really on fire. A fairly timid crowd for whatever reason. There's truth to a performer feeding off of an audience's energy ...
