Re: Live Killers

You are being delicate to the utter lack of musicality in YMBF and it's run of the mill performance or the entire medley of Death On Two Legs, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race & I'm In Love With My Car. For that matter, "Live Killers" should've been a single lp of the cream of the crop, similar to "Live M...

Re: Queen's popularity with young people

Nicki, your truths resonate. Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Freddie Mercury are publicly more well known to me over every other artist/band to come out of the UK and the rest of the entire planet outside of the USA, over the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, U2 and certainly more popular than the tainte...

Re: Describe how you feel by song or lyric

I was sampling the entire Kelly Clarkson discography but other than her top ten hits, the rest was forgettable and otherwise dance pop fluff best used in an elevator. The entire collection made its way into deletville ala recycle bin last week. Luke Bryan, the judge of American Idol met a similar fa...

Re: If wearing masks were mandatory, would you wear one?

Where I work now, there are those who flat out refuse to wear a mask in close quarters. One woman had to be physically restrained for not doing so and her obscene over the top reaction to being simply reminded to wear one.

Re: Live Killers

Side 3 and 4 are epic, I just wish the sound quality of the album was better as it lacks dynamically. Bohemian Rhapsody has a pretty bad vocal crack so they certainly didn't choose the best version of it. Young Music Fan, have you heard the official BBC version of "Spread Your Wings"? It stays true...

Re: Other Than Live Aid..

If it is any interest to you KES or anyone reading this, http://www.googlegroups.com is a treasure trove of posts from members of Queen using aliases and of course fans too, it's died off in so many respects but right up til the year before and after 2008 it was hopping popular at alt.music.queen

Re: Other Than Live Aid..

Warehouse? Barn? How and where does one keep all that? During "Family Jewels" with Gene Simmons, there were frequent shots of his office, wall to wall, room to room individual KISS stuff. Posters, buttons, dolls, coffins, bubble gum, puzzles, every version of any nano second of official and not so o...

Re: What made you happy/what annoyed you today

So, OkCupid tells me to set my range on "Anywhere" and out of the 25 responses, only one in the USA in another state entirely actually likes me. Its women from Africa and Asia that like me and I suspect they are looking for a ticket to America or they are in the oldest profession known to exist. Tha...
