Re: Could Brian's recent health issues be the end of Q+AL?

Only future will tell how this turns out. Might be he has further health problems and can't tour anymore, or might be that he's totally fine again next year and continues as ever before. We'll have to wait, there is no way to predict this right now with any certainty. I just hope the best for him an...

Re: New Brian May collaboration with Tony Iommi?

Would be great if they do something together. Since the end of Sabbath, it seems Iommi didn't do a lot or has any plans what's next. Would be really interesting to see what those two could come up with together. As active as Brian was in the last years, he didn't write or record anything new as far ...

Re: Could Brian's recent health issues be the end of Q+AL?

Maybe it's for the best he can't tour right now. Who knows how he would be if the tour started recently as planned. He has issues, but I think so far it's too early to say he can't do this or that anymore. He for sure doesn't want to give up touring I think, so he'll do everything to get better agai...

Re: Brian Heart Attack

I just recently discovered his (second) Youtube channel...I was subscribed to the other one already longer, but he posts videos way more regularly on the second one. https://www.youtube.com/user/BrianMayCom/videos The other one is "Brian May Official" - no idea why he has two channels, but it seems ...

Re: Brian Heart Attack

I would hate if they had to cancel the tour, I was looking forward seeing them a third time. But if it's better for his health, that's way more important. I hope he rests a lot for the rest of the year and maybe can get better again, so touring is still possible next year. I already noticed in 2017/...

Re: Brian Heart Attack

Just read about it and was shocked. I'm glad he's well again, hopefully he stays well for a long time to come. He isn't getting any younger unfortunately.

Re: Just how good ìs Brian May?

Here is Steve Vai's opinion on Brian: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/steve_vai_offers_explanation_on_what_makes_brian_may_so_amazing.html I don't know where I read it, but I also remember him telling a story about meeting Brian (probably the first time) and seeing the Red Sp...

Re: The Rhapsody Tour

Don't get me wrong, I fully appreciate that Q+AL is now, and Freddie was then. I enjoy going to see QEX when they tour, but I have to ask myself if they, or Q+AL is taking anything away from, or dilluting the experience of seeing "Queen" when the main man was there. I don't know. I'd imagine rather...

Re: The Rhapsody Tour

Well, second best to something that set the bar THAT high, is still very good and enjoyable to many. And yes, even more so for the ones who were too young to see Freddie. I sometimes get the impression people who lived through the 60s-80s and saw all those bands in their original line-ups and prime ...
