I watched the doc yesterday and it strikes me as an AIDS awareness documentary using Freddie as a focal point, rather than a Freddie documentary.

Re: In The News Today...

I can't speak for other countries, but the UK simply doesn't have the infrastructure anywhere near sorted for a 2030 changeover. Guy Martin produced a great show recently where he attempted to make the fastest electric car. He failed in the record attempt but a couple of important points came out of...

Have you been on the sherbet again, JLP?

Last I heard Brian made a comment that Roger hadn't been happy he'd mentioned it publicly.

Re: Upcoming concerts, shows and events...

Last night I saw Danny Bowes and Luke Morley of Thunder, promoting their book. It was a fabulous show and reminded me what a great band they are. I'll be seeing the full band next month for their Christmas show.

I don't know about cds coming with the programmes, but they were selling blank cds and loads of tracks were available online to download and create your own cds.

Re: 50th Anniversary

Someone's said on Facebook that the police had to be called to the pop up store this morning after 'disagreements' broke out and the shop is shut the rest of today. I know better than to just believe what's posted on Facebook so can anyone confirm or deny? Hope everyone is okay, anyway. Just read a...

Re: Greatest Hits III [Special Edition]

Ice Ice Baby was an illegal sample of John Deacon's bassline, that eventually cost Vanilla Ice in court. I don't think Vanilla Ice saw it that way. I forget where I saw the quote, but he was convinced he walked away with a writing credit on Under Pressure. It must be great to be that blissfully una...
