Re: Musicians, artists and famous people who have passed away

I think most of us who heard Bat Out Of Hell, back around 1977/78, were taken by the dramatic style of the album, and vocals. RIP Marvin Lee Aday, you were one of the few singers who reached out and grabbed people.

Re: Your latest Queen buys Part 2

There's enough versions of YDFM, you could make an entire album of them. There's an exclusive one on the Italian 12", there's the ones on the USA 12", including a couple by Freddie Bastone (who did the Hollywood remix of SSOR), there's an edited single version that was on an EMI promo CD collection,...

Re: Restructuring Innuendo

The only criticism I've ever heard of TSMGO, was that the keyboards were slightly reminiscent of INXS's Never Tear Us Apart. So a version minus the keyboards could be a good idea.

Re: Restructuring Innuendo

One thing I found out from the Innuendo - Back to the Tapes day out, was that some songs have so much going on, that they needed two 48-track recorders synced up, to be able to put all their ideas down. This gives phenomenal potential, to create different versions, or focus on some of the ideas that...

Re: Formula 1

The next season is a bit unpredictable, at the moment, especially with some teams spending most of the 2021 season, developing their 2022 cars. I'm sure Mercedes will be there or thereabouts. I'm also sure there will be clarifications on what's considered "racing" and "over aggressive" behaviour. Ha...

Re: The Miracle Box set

I think it's probably fair to say that there's more surviving out-takes and alternative versions for the last three albums, than there are for the first three.

Well, misinformation was obviously VERY popular
and funny on Pluto. It might in some ways explain why No-vax Djokovic is staying in an Australian hotel.

Re: The Miracle Box set

Probably, the main reason that Jim Beach announced The Miracle box, was that at the time, the tribute band on stage were playing The Miracle, in it's entirety..... and of course, the boxset was being worked on.

Re: The Miracle Box set

Jeddie Bercury? John Beacon? Jeg Brooks? Maybe even Jenson Button? Nope, I think you're going to have to spell it out. Who is JB? Oh, Jiami Beach. In which case, who are "& Co"? Jim Beach has very little creative control with Queen stuff, Maybe Freddie's stuff, but not Queen, that's mainly Brian and...
