Re: BM solo re-releases: "We're working on a plan"

I wonder if it was a test for the version that was split across the two single releases? I knew that, if it exists, you'd have it. :D TBH, in years of collecting, I've only ever seen the one, and once I saw the detail stamped into the centre of the disc around the matrix number, I didn't mess aroun...

I've got one, already.

Not a bootleg, a real EMI Swindon pressed one, with an EMI catalogue number on it, not many of those around, I'm fairly sure. Officially, it didn't get released.

I wouldn't worry too much, he was nearly a hundred, and has been running on batteries for about the last five years.

Fairdo's, the man went round most of the time with his filter switched off.

Re: In The News Today...

Now it looks like the Germans had a downer on the Astra Zeneca vaccine, if you are over 65, or now if you're under 60. That leaves a very small range that it's OK for. When in reality, millions have had the vaccine, and not died, and millions have had Covid, and have died. The fact is, everything ki...

Re: Radio Ga Ga Extended Mix

Add me to the list of people who like “Scandal”. Yes, it’s very obviously a product of the 80s, but so am I. This thread’s just reminding me that we still don’t have all the 12” mixes on CD, be it in a compilation of otherwise. It has been suggested. I'd love the 12" mixes of Back Chat, Staying Pow...

Re: Radio Ga Ga Extended Mix

It's a bonus track on the 1992 Hollywood Records The Miracle CD album, if you can get hold of that.

One reason it probably didn't do so well as a single could be because it was the fourth single released off the album, and didn't get a lot of airplay.

...and even that sounds way better than it actually did out of the PA on the day.

Half of any concert is the atmosphere when you're actually there. It had rained half the afternoon, you're crowded into a muddy field, and Queen came on when it was still daylight.

Re: Radio Ga Ga Extended Mix

Think my favourite 12" by Queen, is Scandal, but I think I'm probably one of the few that actually likes the song.
