Re: Record Collector Queen Special

The "Absolute Greatest" book with 2 CD's 495 pounds? No way. you get it from Ebay for 80 and less I thought exactly that, and have seen a couple in used very good condition for £30-£40. Looking a bit further on Google though it seems that there was also a limited edition version of the A4 book avai...

Re: Record Collector Queen Special

It was news to me that the band had rehearsed for several days on the pier in Herne Bay in Kent (which is where I live) in their very early days; the pier was at that time the longest in the country I think, but was split in two by storms in the late 70s.(there is talk of it being rebuilt - perhaps ...

Re: Record Collector Queen Special

oh..and they've conveniently erased The Cosmos Rocks from the discography listed in the back. The live albums are there, but not the studio album. Pure class :) They’ve also included the ‘Live Around The World’ album releases but forgotten the ‘You Are The Champions’ limited edition single release!...

Re: Rudi’s Latest Claim

Brian has just posted a clip of him and his Dad from the Magic Years on his Instagram - he comments that the interview video is “sadly in the possession of someone who is reluctant to part with it, so I can’t see it”.

I’m guessing that this would be either Rudi or Hannes that own it?

How odd - my UK cd opens with ‘You’re The Voice’ with ‘Baby You’re A Rich Man’ appearing later on. Are there different tracklistings in different territories?

Re: What should come next?

Yes. But Queen Anthology is a myth. Nobody promised this anthology Not “promised” as such, but there have been several comments, press releases, interviews, and fan club articles over the years that have said they are working on an anthology/archive set and that it was very much planned to be relea...

Re: What should come next?

As Queen as a recording act is completely finished, there has been no reason for many years not to release an archive anthology set. At the very least they should release a PROPER deluxe edition of each album over a defined timeframe, with demos, unreleased tracks, videos of the singles, and a 5.1 m...
