Re: If you were in charge of Queen Productions...

I'd aim for a three tier view. 1. The public, or at least a reasonable proportion of them, will clearly buy a new compilation every other year, so that will be the primary revenue stream for the masses. Re: In The News Today...

In Belgian press there are now reports about how badly the corona situation is being handled in the UK. With the current policy the estimation is that 250.000 people will die. Now the government has learned that their strategy is wrong and slowly they're making a turn. Too slowly though! So please, ...

Re: In The News Today...

Elephant in the room...Italy is going to get another spike when they think it’s all over. And what will happen in the UK with the current policy?? A slow, steady, drawn out epidemic with a constant stream of patients arriving into extremely busy hospitals but in a just-about manageable way, slowly ...

Re: In The News Today...

The alternative will also see it collapse, but even more so and with more deaths. Although I agree with the policy, I bet Dominic Cummings is having wet dreams about being able to control the population like this. You're wrong. You have to flatten the curve. What you are doing now in the UK is maki...

Re: In The News Today...

It may be a difficult sell politically, but that suggests it's the right thing to do - how many governments would simply panic and think only of the next election? Whether you agree with their policies or not generally, I do think they're being sensible here following the advice of people who know ...

Re: In The News Today...

It’s not clear what the UK government’s strategy is, but they clearly do have one, in contrast to most other countries that are simply bringing in blanket measures without any real finesse. I suspect the plan is to protect the elderly and let the virus sweep through younger populations who will mos...

Re: In The News Today...

I'm saddened to see that the UK is again making all the wrong decisions (just like Brexit).

Apparently, not much is done to fight the spread of this virus.

If it is now indeed spreading rapidly, then it'll be hell within 2 weeks.
