I've been voluntarily wearing one for about 6 weeks on the rare occasions when I'm in enclosed spaces, or the high Street.

I don't understand the rationale behind " it's an unreasonable imposition " - there's no way government wants people passing under its Cctv network unidentifiable!

Oh OK your issue, I'm really sorry to have offended you as it seems like that. I wrote that having not seen any evidence to prove that it was official in the first place but mind you I wasn't even alive when it was first released so I've never seen any documents or statements so I can only take you...

I think it's Peter Noone. You get a warm voice, double track it with RT in the right intervals and it just sounds big.
