Re: In The News Today...

It’s a little bit of a gamble though, and it’s very difficult to sell politically. But it’s better than what the rest of Europe is doing. They’ve gone into lockdown which will get the epidemic under control nice and quickly, but as soon as they lift the restrictions it will re-emerge. It may be a d...

Re: In The News Today...

It’s not clear what the UK government’s strategy is, but they clearly do have one, in contrast to most other countries that are simply bringing in blanket measures without any real finesse. Re: '39 - The 39th Queen song released consecutively on albums: deliberate or a coincidence?

Is it off catalogue? I can't find it anywhere - HMV don't have it, Amazon don't have it and it's not available on their website!

He's doing really well with it. He's currently working on a TV adaptation of his first book.

Re: What are you watching/listening or reading?

I haven't started reading this yet, but today saw the arrival of my limited edition signed copy of Wolf Of Wessex by Matthew Harffy - http://www.matthewharffy.com/. This is (I think) his 9th novel. Re: Favorite Roger Taylor Album

I love Electric Fire too, but my favourite is Strange Frontier. It was the first of their solo albums that I heard and during the time I was first listening to the band, so that probably has a lot to do with it, but songs like SF and Man On Fire are right up my street and Racing In The Streets is, i...

Re: general thoughts and observations

Loads of flooding in the Midlands. Had to drive through 20 miles of floods on the way home from a gig on Saturday night.
