The actual quote is quite vague but says it's stuff that never got on the album and alternative versions. Some of the b-sides from singles could definitely match that description. I'm hopeful he may have meant stuff that never got on the album or released at all.

Turn the volume down on your radio.
Voila. Unheard stuff.

According to a post in another forum, Brian’s had this to say in a recent issue of Guitar Player magazine:
So it sounds like we might be getting at least some unheard material. The first idea was, “Should I do a box set?” Because my solo stuff isn’t out there – it’s all been deleted and I don’t have a record contract. But then I thought, Why don’t I tackle one project at a time? So I’m starting with Back to the Light. We’ve unearthed a few outtakes and bits and pieces, and I’m writing some new retrospective liner notes. And we remastered it to make it what it needs to be in the 21st century.

Again drawn to his comment there 'what it needs to be in the 21st century' that went along with 'more than a remaster' in Record Collector. Wonder if he's re-recorded parts of some songs or something? Or maybe a remixing of the tracks as much as a remaster? Would definitely be very interested in 'freshened up' version of BttL

He's going to have all the instruments replaced by a symphony orchestra, and have a 7 year old draw the artwork...

That sounds vaguely familiar...
Somewhere between original BttF and the full Barcelona treatment would be the sweet spot for me.

The Guitar Player quote also seems to imply Back to the Light is just the first thing he’s looking at, so I guess there’s hope yet we might get Another World or even the Albert Hall show further down the line.

It would be nice to get a single CD of the Star Fleet album too.Leigh Burne wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:37 am The Guitar Player quote also seems to imply Back to the Light is just the first thing he’s looking at, so I guess there’s hope yet we might get Another World or even the Albert Hall show further down the line.
