The first thing I looked for was 'the nose'. Unfortunately the 'Roger' double isn't quite so good.

July 13th, 1985.

Doc Brian: "...and here it is: the device I have just invented which allows me to time travel back to any point in my life".

Younger Brian: "Can we talk about this in about twenty minutes time? We have a small gig to do first. Any advice?"

Doc Brian: "Just get the sound engineer to turn everything up and you'll be fine".

Well he's in the leather pants, wrist strap, drumstick in hand outfit, so I'd say it was definitely Roger. I never knew where he got the energy at the end of a show to do leaps or squats or whatever...........funny he doesn't do it any more, I wonder why :D

Make the picture bigger and it's obvious. It looks like the 70s, well the lighting rig does, and Roger used to go topless back then, and at the end of the show he would leap forward . Looks like brown leather pants to me. (Nick, how dare you question my dreams. If I want a 1979/80 Roger half naked, then that's what I see. You can see who you want)

On the Live Killers album, Brian May introduces the band, and says:

On drums and tiger skin trousers, Mr. Roger Taylor! :

So guess what, not leather, but tiger skin trousers. ;)

Can we just post some friggin' captions, rather than discussing Roger's trouser material? :-| :P

The Captioneers Must Go On

Postby Isolde Jane Holland » Thu Oct 12, 2017 9:33 pm

I've just read that in the last few years, sinkholes have become five times more common in Great Britain than they were before, so mine is not just cute : it's actually possible!

Image

Brian: ""Roger!! I warned you to be careful walking near the subterranean geyser under the left corner of the stage!"

Roger, yelling up out of hole,"I know you did! But who would believe something that idiotic??"

I love those tiny opposite shoulder purses!

Image

Is this from the We Will Rock you or Spread your Wings video? They were both shot the same day.

Image

John: "Am I imagining it, or do I see......"

Roger: "Head lice! That's it, I'm rooming with you tonight."

John: "Room? I'm taking a separate plane."

So I decide to be a good sport and watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 with Lan, and what's my reward? That old song Brandy, you're a fine girl, which is featured early in the movie, is now stuck in my head. Especially that irresistible hook: Doodoodadoodandoo, doodoodadoo! I also decided that Brandy banked her tips, house-sat winters to save rent money, and now owns a thriving gelato business called Dairy Godmother. She never married any of the sailors, because old sailors are all nuts: just look at Robert Shaw in Jaws, Ahab in Moby Dick, Queeg in the Caine Mutiny. Speaking of nuts, Lan has lived with me for years, so he now speaks fluent moron. L: "I'm getting a pizza. What do you want on it?" Me: "Doodoodadoodandoo, doodoodadoo!" L: "Got it: mushroom, feta and pesto."

I believe that that is a box brownie camera case, but I may be mistaken...

Queen support Mott the Hoople at Birmingham Town Hall on 27th November 1973.
They're stuck on the left hand side of the stage,"nobody puts Queen in the corner!". (I think they only did 5 songs).
