There's a similar picture with Roger's son included, and the keyboard is shown in full in it's rotten glory.
(I'm not surprised it gets dirty, but I'm glad I don't have to touch it).

Perhaps it's a spin-off band: 'Spike and the filthy keyboards' ? :|

When I got my first polaroid 'instant' camera, all the photos of groups of people were called 'muppet' pictures. Everybody had to squeeze in tight to get into the frame. I've got a great muppet picture of my dear old mum with six of her grandchildren and the dog all squished together.
We used to do them 'backstage' ( don't I sound arty farty) in a corridor that had a couple of steps in it. Snow White and all 7 dwarfs. Groups of cast members........it was great fun. Did I ever mention that I was 'Happy' in the 7 dwarfs. It was hard work laughing for two and a half hours for no reason whilst carrying a big fat belly around.

Oh dear the old dear's gone off at a tangent again.

Freddie, "Do I believe in what? Reincarnation? Well I certainly believe in freeing carnations!! HERE!!"

This very poor gag and piss poor pun relies on my assumption that these are actually carnations. I hand over to my most learned friend and our resident florist..Amy? :-D

Yup those are carnations :) :bigups:

I put yellow carnations on Bach's grave in Leipzig. Another woman who had brought the pricier stephanotis gave me a slightly superior look; the current kappelmeister smiled at her but winked at me, because we knew what she did not: yellow carnations were Bach's favourite flower.

Enjoying that warm weather, julymorning? It's like that old song: "When it's cold outside, I got the month of May." Only for you guys, it's "When it should be cold outside, I got the month of May." Your animals must be loving it.

I goodness I just read the above..............I sound my age + I'll get back in the nana corner now then.

Nay, lass. I've saved bicentennial quarters and pre-1982 pennies for years. Before 1982, pennies were solid copper; now they're just tin with copper plating. The old ones are supposedly worth 1.72¢ now, although still valued at just 1¢. And yes, that is an Abraham Lincoln bank I keep them in. My grandmother got it in the 50s when she was first married; it was filled with Hershey's chocolate syrup. She said,"Take care of that, I bet it's worth something now." I checked on eBay and there are dozens of them selling for about $10. But I'll let her keep thinking it's an Antiques Roadshow-style heirloom. :P

Nothing whatsoever to do with Queen, but I thought it was funny:

The Captioneers Must Go On

Postby Isolde Jane Holland » Sat Mar 18, 2017 3:41 pm

I think this is what Brits call 'whingeing' ?? And some captions are clearly more 'autobiographical' than others........

Image

Dark-haired woman in back room, muttering: "Maybe I'D like to be in a picture with Brian May, too, but does anybody think to ask? Of course not. Yet when you're going away for the weekend and need your dog walked, then it's all 'Oh, come sit with us, Evie!' "

"Can any of them tell you the b-side of Bohemian Rhapsody without googling it? I mean can they?!!

It's sort of whinging, but you've done the American middle-class, passive aggressive version. A pro-whinger would have made themselves heard.

Incidentally, my niece is called Evie. I seem to hear that name all of the time now, probably because I'm just more aware of it.
