I bought the book, and I think it's very good. I also got the incomplete CD, which was a pity. But, I downloaded the entire interview, and put it on my iPod. Even if the whole interview had been on the CD, I would only have used the CD once - to burn it to my iPod. I appreciate a good product, but, as we have all made mistakes, I don't get my knickers in a twist when somebody else makes a mistake. I'm sure whoever did it has been hauled over the coals. Look at the bigger picture, and thank fuck that an incomplete CD is the worst of your problems. Life could be MUCH worse. I used to post on QOL alot, under a different name. But as this forum is the most horribly divided and bitchy forum I have ever had the displeasure of using, I rarely look at it. I'm sure this issue pales into insignificance compared to other things that have, or will happen in our lives. All I ask is that people get a little perspective and stop bloody complaining.

My message to QPL: I love the book, and despite the CD problem, I am a satisfied customer. Some people appreciate the work you do. Keep up the good work. I admire you all. Thankyou for keeping Queen in our lives 20 years after the sad passing of Freddie. God Bless Queen, God Bless You. Thank You.

@TW~Glad you enjoy the book. I would usually ask the ones who have product before I do, to give their take on it. With you I am not going to bother, as you have made some pretty nasty assumptions in your above post. Do not judge any of the people/their problems who are bringing things to light...or at least do it by your old username!

I have also got the book which I think is fantastic. Also used to be a member under a different name and also can't believe the bitching which goes on. I have got the first 6/7 deluxe versions of the remastered CDs. Some of the extra tracks are good, some fantastic and some pointless. Didn't bother with ANATO as I have that in about 5 or 6 different versions already.
My question is where do you go to download the interview.

You have to first contact Carlton, the email address was posted a few pages back but here it is again: enquiries@carltonbooks.co.uk, I contacted them on Mon and received my download from QOL today (Wed) so I'm quite pleased by the service from both Carlton and QOL!!

Just got mine, & flicking through it, noticed the top edge of 'The Works' insert is damaged. Just my luck.

I have ruined many a book by doing that . Couldn't bring myself doing it these days, been tempted however.

The inserts are in envelopes so no damage would be done to the book, I wouldn't go ripping out pages or anything!! :P

Rhetorically, why is this necessary? Heaven forbid that people who HAVEN'T bought the book should have access to the second (equally incomplete) half. If it's that important, ask everyone who downloads it to identify a particular word on a particular page....

AGAIN: Carlton sell a BOOK not a cd. So as noone with a brain is buying this book just because of an odd interview cd they can give it away for free.
