Taron's got the voice to pull it off for sure. Not too sure about the looks but I've not seen a side by side contrast yet. He could pull it off though.

Looking forward to seeing what he does with the role, he's not been in something I haven't liked so far.

I was having a wishful think earlier and maybe, just maybe, with a huge pinch of salt, TE could have a little cameo role in BR.

Too good to be true though I expect.

I dont think the Elton John biopic has nearly the same potential as a Queen biopic. A lot of Queen's songs is well known by the younger generation. And the music seems to grow and grow with the years. I dont feel its the case with Elton Johns music. If you ask a kid to sing a line from Don't stop me now, We Are the Champions or We Will rock you there is a big chance they will manage. If you do the same with a Elton John song they will have no idea. At my school this is a fact. I dont know about the rest of the world. This is only my opinion. Feel free to disagree ;)

It's all over Google, Icy. I have only read a few bits and pieces about the fella who is playing Elton and the fact that Dexter Fletcher is going to be directing. Just Google Elton biopic and you'll find plenty of news about it (I really want to see it). :)

 I wasn't sure if there would be site/s dedicated to the film that I may have missed. I'm excited about the Elton John biopic as well. I hope the last 25+ is going to be a part of it.

My niece and nephew are aware of Elton John's music, but it's because I'm a fan. They both love Honky Cat

Found this on the movie's wiki page.

Teaser poster at 2018 CinemaCon.

The teaser trailer is just around the corner, methinks.

I really hope that won't be the official poster for the movie.

Nah, just a teaser. :)

I can see the official one being Queen II inspired with the logo in the background.

So, make up your mind, Black country or Brummie? You can't straddle both like a West midlands Colossus.

John Campea don't believe we'll see a trailer until August. :( Hear him discussing the trailer release here. Begins at 2:01:34

Based on the orange colouring of that logo, I can see it being on screen, and then the text slowly zooming in towards the viewers to reveal the ‘flame’ version of the Bo Rhap promo video playing underneath.

Possible very mild spoiler (or not- could be nonsense)

Spoiler! :
There's a comment on a youtube vid from someone who claims to have been an extra. Says they played a student at Ealing College, so that era of Fred's life, presumably meeting Tim /Bri/Rog could be getting some attention. Great if true.

Good because I think it's terrible  . Two different fonts, one word bigger than the other, too stark, hopefully the official poster will be much better ;)

Not really a spoiler, if you ask me. I'd be surprised if that part of the story was left out.

Regarding the teaser poster, it is what it is. Nothing fancy. Just a placeholder until they're ready to hit the big time with marketing.

And my God, I hope we don't have to wait until August for a trailer. Hope that guy is wrong.
