Nice. The other pic I saw I wasn't that impressed with; but seeing these has reassured me a bit - he is not obviously going to look exactly like Freddie, but this is close enough for me. :)

Not the best pic but interesting..it's Rami as early 80s Fred (obviously), wearing blue jeans, smokin' a tab and hanging out in (fab) New York. :)

He looks like he should be selling copies of The Big Issue.

Tbh I was very pleased with the first pictures but those new ones are disappointing though.

Gary Goddard has been accused of assault by Anthony Edwards aka Goose from ‘Top Gun’. Ellen Page has written a long post that names Brett Ratner and makes thinly veiled references to the Singer rumours being true.

They need to either pull the plug on this film or replace Singer ASAP.

I just read E.P's Facebook post...wow, I'm sure that took guts to do.
I have a feeling the biopic will be dumped. Quickly too.

If the makeup artists would do something with those bags under his eyes, it would sure help a LOT, IMHO.

I very much doubt the film will be halted: too much money has probably been invested already; they will just rope in another director if Singer goes.

He cannot really help the way he looks and, of course, after studio make up and lighting sorted those 'bags' will not seem so prominent.

To be honest, I feel quite sorry for the fella: so many people slate him online for his eyes - we live in such a shallow age, we really do.

Just dab a little preparation H and it might clear up. :P

But seriously, I think some of you are forgetting about post-production. It's quite possible they'd be able to digitally alter elements of his face (such as the bags) to help make him look more like Freddie.

Regarding Singer, oh boy. It doesn't look good, but like others have said, they've invested too much money. It won't be dumped.

I'm not slagging him off because of his eyes but to look more like Freddie, the makeup would help. That's all. Not making fun of him at all. :?

I am not stating you are making fun of him - I know you are above that. But many go on about his 'frog eyes' etc. and I find it all so shallow and judgemental.

I am sure he will look fine in the film.

Nope, it really does not look good...but it has been a long time coming. The film will survive with a new (decent) director, as long as the script and acting are strong enough. Here's hoping. :)

Ellen Page's post:
http://www.facebook.com/EllenPage/posts ... 2835577449

This is the bit which I suspect refers to Singer:

"Look at the history of what’s happened to minors who’ve described sexual abuse in Hollywood. Some of them are no longer with us, lost to substance abuse and suicide. Their victimizers? Still working. Protected even as I write this. You know who they are; they’ve been discussed behind closed doors as often as Weinstein was."

Spacey's latest film is being reshot to erase him from it. It shouldn't be too difficult to erase Singer from this film. They need to get on and do it ASAP though - if they haven't already.

His Twitter account has been deleted and his lawyers are rounding up any media stories about previously allegations and getting them pulled. There's a screenshot doing the rounds of a guy who made public accusations on Twitter and was then threatened so has gone into hiding.

So what makes me laugh is that his lawyers are all over Twitter shutting down the rumours but no one has bothered going to the message board of the band he is LITERALLY MAKING A FILM ABOUT RIGHT NOW, because QOL is such an irrelevance.
