I'd love to hear a podcast with Josh Macrae...having worked with Roger on solo and The Cross material both live and on tour, and involved in the Queen team in their final days from Made in Heaven, played at the Freddie Tribute concert and still involved now, and also as a drummer to chat about Roger, his thoughts, comments and recollections would really interest me. Basically, passing a blind audition for The Cross has led him to where he is today in the Queen camp.

Well that rules out my fear that it was a couple of interviews with the people at Hasbro. :P

Ooh, nice!

Especially interested in hearing what is said about Gary. Huge fan of his work.

Can't believe you had a chat with Brian about people that can sing well and play an instrument at the same time, and neither of you mention Roger Taylor!!

An extended version of the RT Journey's End interview.

Some cool bits -

Roger not doing another solo album most likely - will go like Journey's End. Working on soundtracks including an updated Christmas Carol? Didn't make clear if it was a movie or tv show or what...

Nick? Any idea what the Christmas Carol is?

BUT On that soundtrack will be one song - that Roger wrote and played the instruments on but a Canadian guy wrote lyrics and sang on it...sounded like it would be a single...Christmas in Love.

Furthermore... a dance mix of Two Sharp Pencils?

Then talking about QAL - News of the World flavored but NOT Fight From The Inside.

Doubt there'd be a QAL album but thinks they will record at some point - just waiting for a killer song....

Not to complain, but it is not on iTunes yet.

The BM ones turned up very recently.

A deliberate iTunes delay?

"Canadian guy" - Marc Martel I guess? Great news for his fans.

Not deliberate, just takes longer to chew through the system sometimes. It'll be up shortly.

Sure! Roger posted a really nice photo of him with Paul a couple of days ago. :)
Martel was definitely recording something last month in London though....music for the Freddie's Biopic maybe...

Spent the evening catching up on the podcast. Great to hear Brian talking affectionately about Gary Moore, I'm a massive fan of his hard rock work. And hearing repeated mention of Rufus being in The Darkness reminded me that I'm seeing them in December :D
