Enjoying the player so far. Can't describe the sound much better than "rich", "full". Forgot that somebody gave me Delicate Sound of Thunder as a birthday present last year on vinyl. Sounds really impressive... never really liked the CD.

Have you played anything else on it?

Hello from all at The Sound Gallery!

I have joined to give advice to anyone about the new Rega Limited Edition Queen turntable.
I'm not here to hunt for business or advertise in anyway, just to give free advice about the new vinyl player.

We have been Rega dealers in High Wycombe for 30 years and love their products, we are also working along side Rega with a twitter competition, where you can win one, details can be found here!
It would be great if the prize could go to a true Queen fan!

So any problems I'm here to help, Ronnie. :D

Is anyone else from the States thinking of getting this? I found one place online that will ship here
http://www.musicdirect.com/p-346653-reg ... table.aspx
But that seems very expensive. A dollar = 0.91 euros now so that's almost twice as much as I've seen posted people here getting it for.

@The Sound Gallery

Thank for coming here! I do have one question: how does this table compare to my Rega RP3 with a Goldring 1012 cartridge?

Your Rega RP3 and Goldring will sound better than the Queen turntable, as all parts are made to a far higher standard (hence the cost is double the price). If you wish for a better sound from your vinyl then upgrading the cartridge will do the job. Kind regards, Ronnie. :-D

By the way, I am pretty satisfied with my Rega 1. Finally able to listen to my old records... and I've been browsing through record stores to buy some vinyls. Worth the money in my opinion.

Are you prepared to answer questions about other items you may stock for someone looking to upgrade?

We bought a new turntable two months ago but are not overly happy with it. We are planning to upgrade, but as we only bought this one a few months ago, and I'm buying the queen studio collection it's going to be nearly Christmas before we can upgrade which means sadly this queen turntable won't be available :(

Sorry, but we been rather busy with other things that we do. However, glad to hear you sorted out your problems. It was the Queen turntable that we are trying to look after here, nothing more.

If anyone does have any issue they need to resolve or understand regarding the Queen Rega turntable our contact details (phone number & email) are here: http://soundgallery.co.uk/contact.html.

Keep it vinyl.
