At the Beeb was released in the US in '95, so technically they weren't lying.

The CD singles of Let Me Live were released by Parlophone, and the At The BBC album was released by Hollywood Records.

Not often one label will do free advertising for a competitor, is it? :-)

Anyway, while we're being "technical", the Let Me Live single was released on 17th June 1996. Hollywood released At The BBC... 7th March 1995, so it wouldn't have been a "forthcoming" album when that album was released over a year before the single.

Ah right, my mistake. I just assumed "Let Me Live" was released some time around when Made in Heaven hit shelves in '95.

Unfortunately not, it was the fourth and penultimate single from the album.

Preceded by Heaven For Everyone; A Winter's Tale and Too Much Love Will Kill You, and followed by You Don't Fool Me.

There's an absolute wealth of live material from 1979.

I also see the potential for a decent live release next year, taking in and possibly combining the Earl's Court and Houston gigs from 40 years ago.
All Queen fans see the potential but those in charge apparently don't...

We can keep on making "wish lists", they will never materialise as long as the same people are in power.

They could easily release a box with about 10 1979 shows but they prefer not to... They have pure gold like Hammy '79 but still they prefer to offer ...

What do we know about the Greatest Hits vinyl re-releases? Are they definitely happening this year? Feel like it's something we've all known about for ages but there's never been an official word, has there?

Yeah, we know about that. In fact it was what we were commenting on.

Another "pencilled in" release, was the infamous "Another Miracle" album, which got shelved, and that was meant to be a few extended mixes from The Miracle, some B sides, and a few new tracks. The new tracks turned into Innuendo, but I guess around that time, they never knew what the band's last record was going to be, so everything was, and had to be "a bit fluid".

When they joined UMG, there had to be a "plan" written up, they probably wouldn't have got a deal, unless they had some sort of carrot to offer. But five and a half years down the road, one would guess they would have fulfilled that by now.

Has there been any official word though? I know GB was forced to 'admit' to them (for lack of a better word) at a convention. Are the US only?

No official announcement, as far as I'm aware, however, the thing I've heard about the first GH, is a "revised" track listing, so I wonder if Spread Your Wings, Love Of My Life and/or Tie Your Mother Down have been included

Why no Blu-Ray of the videos yet? I hope we get a Blu-Ray of all Queen videos one day.

I think they've got perpetually ongoing things that they're looking at, like 3D and all that sort of shit.

Just seen QAL Live in Japan is happening. One edition comes with a tote bag.

I wish someone would ask Greg Brooks who's behind all threads tote bags.
