They had two six foot tall cabinets of which that was part of one of them, just dedicated to MOTG, with originals of the handwritten lyrics to a lot of the singles contained within. You really can't put a value on stuff like that. Just the lyrics in Freddie's own hand to one song could be worth thousands at auction.

Only on the Sunday, Justin had his laptop wired up to the consul. Normally there are four songs you can play "Mix it yourself" with. Mother Love, Made In Heaven, Bicycle Race and The Invisible Man. Well, on Sunday, Justin wired in another four or five tracks. Don't ask me what they were, as it was a hot day, the control room was heaving with people, and those that got to the mixing desk were patently having far too much fun pissing around with the tracks that have been there for the last two years, I think one was Don't Stop Me Now.

Amazed that none of it is up on YouTube yet.

There's a version of Prophet's Song up there, same stage gear, same size stage, really looks just as it did at Montreux, but it says in the comments that it's two years old.

There are audience-shot videos on YouTube. I made a playlist of them here:

Here's Death on Two Legs

As for a livestream recording, it's in the wild. It's just not on YouTube for fear of getting a takedown from TPTB -- after all, if TPTB were OK with it being on YouTube, they would make the official livestream public again. ;)

One of the strange facts in the world is that no person has ever dressed up as Freddie Mercury and looked good. It just looks wrong when someone tries to wear his yellow jacket. It's as if it only suits him. I dont think I will ever see anyone do this successfully.

They had a few Tech issues with Guitars during at least 2 songs. Prophet Song the lead guitar went out for the first half of the song and the start of Good Company the bass went out and they had to stop the show to fix it. The band themselves were awesome otherwise, hick ups and all.

The guy from Chile who won the fancy dress on Sunday night, was an absolute ringer for Freddie, down to the mannerisms, and shielding the teeth. He had the yellow Magic Tour outfit on. Won the thing EASILY.

.... and Marc Martel's ukelele being seriously out of tune for Good Company.

Personally, I thought the lead guitar could have the volume turned up a little bit for the whole show. It seemed just a bit too quiet to me, and I was stood right in front of it.

I think they played amazingly well considering it was the first time in 6 months! Some errors even happens several weeks into a tour.

And I agree with you with the lead guitar. Sometimes I felt that the bass was too loud compared to the rest, and at times Marc was drowned a bit. Hopefully these things are being worked on as I hope for some kind of release of this event. :)

I will admit that I was seriously impressed at how tight the band sounded.

Even Queen back in the day, would have been impressed getting the songs that close to the studio records, without any bum notes or gliches.

I was waiting for Ms. Methos to post this, but the entire streaming of the concert is on youtube now. For now.

In spite of our discreet passing it around a few days ago, via email so's not to alert TPTB, someone from Finland, I think, loaded it into youtube.

ETA:, thank you Kes. ;)

I didn't know if linking to a "bootleg" video would be allowed here and didn't want to get into trouble, so I refrained from posting...

Here's Jim Beach, Kashmira and QE giving a toast and singing Happy Birthday to Freddie:
