Finally listened to Freddie's "All Dead, All Dead".

Like the previous outtakes, incredibly interesting, but I honestly think Brian's softer voice suits to song better.

Agreed. There is a nice McCartney vibe to Brians version

you're trolling, right?

Well Freddie/Brian /Queen clearly thought so in 1977 as that's what they put on the record. Other opinions are available.

'Trolling', a slang term for posting messages online with the sole intention of causing aggravation, shutting down debate, bullying, and provoking arguments.

Not necessarily. Back then, whoever'd written the song had the final say. So, even in the hypothetical case John, Roger, Frederick, Mike, their mums and dads, the tea lady at Wessex, their girlfriends, boyfriends, postmen, dentists and catsitters all voted for Frederick's version, if Brian decided his own vocal was going to be the one on the final cut that's the way it would be.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger did not compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

phpBB [video]

The part from 2:30 seems like a dialogue between Brian and Freddie:

Brian: All Dead, All Dead, but I should not grieve..
Freddie: In time it comes to everyone..

Haunting.

No.

Freddie's voice overpowers the song. Brian's quieter tone suits it better if you ask me.
