YouTube Video Compilations

Postby Sir Didymus » Tue Apr 10, 2018 10:12 pm

The official Queen channel has uploaded a nice compilation of music videos, mostly cut to wide-screen sadly, compiling an hour of Queen ballads.

Seems like an interesting choice now, and almost like something that was considered for Queen Forever, but it does have some later videos in the best quality currently available.

Wonder if there are more planned, and if this is a sign that a dedicated music video collection is not happenig after all. Interesting...

And, as usual, the 90's videos with mono sound. Someone please send a stereo VHS player to QPL because they don't have one, please?

It is very interesting that the mono sound on 90s videos adds a dense and more detailed sound, especially on Innuendo

I spoke too soon about the quality... I did a skim before posting, but then I watched it. Save Me in particular looks a mess. :(

Still a step in the right direction perhaps?
