There really is no excuse for not including deleted scenes, at this point in home media. Absolutely ridiculous. Alternate takes and deleted scenes are sometimes the reason people buy home media.

Also, I knew we weren't going to get a lot of extras, but still I wish we'd gotten a blooper reel and deleted scenes. Then we might have seen the '39 segment, John Deacon's audition, and a bit that I've seen talked about where Mike Myers, as Ray Foster, leans out that window and trades some R-rated insults with the BoRhap boys. Oh well. Maybe next time!

It's difficult to catch screen grabs of either shirt but here's the movie version, as much as I could grab. Very close. Looking around, it appears he liked shirts like this as there are a few other similar ones.

And here.

And John with the "real" shirt.

Maybe this will work...

...and the scene where Rami follows Truck Drive (aka Adam Lambert) into the mens toilet

He did? I didn't realize that. It looked like he was thinking about doing it but then nothing happened, at least in the movie that I saw in the theater or at home. Hmmm. Where is that scene???

These are a little small, but you can see how close the pattern is. How did they DO that??

So I’m watching the movie with subtitles on. There are a lot of lines you don’t notice without them. When Prenter has Freddie on his shoulders at the house party, Paul says “Senor, where’s my marching powder?”. Lol. I guess that’s slang for cocaine. Also some dude mumbles “wanker” at Freddie when he joined the band outside to meet John Reid haha

haha Yes, I caught both of those while watching with subtitles as well. There's also some interesting dialogue during Freddie's birthday that I discovered by using subtitles...Little Richard is mentioned, his first bands while at school, etc.

After watching the Blu-Ray features - I think that the undeniable conclusion one will come to is that Joe Mazzello was positively thrilled and had the most fun being apart of this film out of anyone.

The guy is happier than a pig-in-shit to be there and seems to have had a blast - it's endearing, really.

So just to be clear for those who have the DVD/Blu-Ray. Is the extended Live Aid sequence part of the film or is it just an extra?

Thanks, that's a terrible shame.

Guess I'll just have to end the film right before that scene and watch the extra.
