“But according to his fitness trainer, Adam tries to have a plant-based diet every day. Adam is not a vegetarian, but he still tries to include more vegetables in his food along with meat and all. For breakfast, according to Seth, he eats eggs, which he enjoys cooking.Dec 24, 2022“
If that makes you mostly vegan I’m mostly vegan.
Tonight I had shrimp, super veggie salad, and a kale and chickpea salad.

That sounds yummy except for the shrimp. I'm shamed I never enjoyed eating seafood and fish, and I'm a Newfoundlander.the milkman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 12:24 am “But according to his fitness trainer, Adam tries to have a plant-based diet every day. Seafood is my favorite. I could probably be a pescatarian but I could never be vegan or a vegetarian.
I always thought being a vegan was hardcore. IMO you either eat animal products or you don’t. Mostly vegan doesn’t make sense to me. I totally respect vegans and vegetarians.

I found it easy to give up meat. I never did eat much of it. To go completely vegan is hard, because milk, egg, and meat flavouring is in a lot of products, even some crackers. Its a learning curve and I'm still learning. I probably sound like a hypocrite now.the milkman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 1:11 am Seafood is my favorite. My downfall is milk...ice cream, chesse yogurts etc. I miss eating things like that.

Genuine question for you now. When has Lambert said he doesn't wear real leather now? From the looks of it, it he wears real leather often. Onstage, offstage, photoshoots, etc. I don't recall him saying he wears fake leather.Nicki wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 9:43 pmYeah, because we all judge people according to what they said 13 years ago, right?midnight sky wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 9:18 pm
Hi again . What has he changed his most and about? Hopefully wearing animal fur and leather...if there is things I hope he's learned from Brian May is not to wear leather and fur. Its a gross look to wear animals ( and that goes for anyone who wears it )and Lambert's comment made him look thoughtless IMO.
Adam was apparently talking about a fashion show, he didn’t wear fur himself. It wasn’t a smart reply, if that’s he really said. (We all know: One single sentence like that one out of context can get very fast blown up in a sense that you didn’t mean.).
By now Adam isn’t even wearing leather. When an interviewer had asked him about his pants during a QAL tour he had explained that they only look like it, but it’s all synthetic. Times change and so do opinions.
A quick google search has come up with plenty of pics of him wearing what appears to beg leather looks even during Q+AL shows.

Yeah, makes a big difference to me. If it was real fur then, as I said, I would never defend the man again. If he was talking about leather then I have no issue at all.

That's all good and well, but unless you wear no leather shoes and wear nothing with any animal product in then you cannot really knock anyone for wearing leather.midnight sky wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 9:14 pm Leather and fur are animal products. IMO,no animal should be killed for fkn fashion. Why would anyone wear in this day and age? No need of it.
I do not know one person who does not wear something or uses a product which has no connection to animals in some way - and that's vegans included.

Re: Adam Lambert
Freddie wore fox fur in the 70s. He would have been around the same age as Adam - or older - when Adam made the comment currently being discussed. Seems Freddie and Adam had more than one similarity then.
