Re: PUB QUIZ
I knew the answer, but I was too wary to say.
One of my last books I ever gave my father was the Sedaka autobiography, unfortunately it was lost while he was in hospital. Another memory, he and I used to "sing" this song just for fun. Which I shouldn't be mentioning in this thread.
Re: PUB QUIZ
Here is one I came across recently. What was the last single produced by George Martin to get to number one in the UK Singles chart?
Re: PUB QUIZ
Guessing Elton John's redone version of Candle In The Wind, when Princess Diana died.
Re: PUB QUIZ
That is the one Kes.
Re: PUB QUIZ
He had another around the same time, as Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On, was a double A side, and he apparently produced the other song on that.

Re: PUB QUIZ
No, although Sir George produced Here, There & Everywhere for his In My Life album, the one I was thinking of was a song called The Reason.
On further research, this song was only a double A with the Hot Dog song in France.

Re: PUB QUIZ
Here's a possibly interesting one.
Apart from Freddie's various duets with Michael Jackson, what is the link between Queen, and Michael Jackson's estate?

Re: PUB QUIZ
Maybe, but that's not what I was looking for.
The situation in question happened between 2011 and 2016, (some reports say 2018) is not current now and probably doesn't apply on the other side of the Atlantic.
