Led Zeppelin didn’t release singles in the UK after GTBT but they did in the US. What is their only top 10 single?

I'd go with either Whole Lotta Love, or Rock And Roll.

Over the years, I've tried to collect their earlier singles, and there's some you just never get to see on places like ebay these days, like Gallows Pole/Moby Dick, and even a fairly recent jukebox release of Stairway To Heaven/Whole Lotta Love fetches silly money.

I would have said Rock And Roll but it didn’t crack the top 40. Whole Lotta Love peaked at #4 making it their only top 10 hit.

Why didn’t they release singles in the UK? I’ve heard people say that they wanted to be an album band and not a single band but they released singles in several countries.

Back in the early seventies, I remember reading that they didn't want their songs played on AM radio, and all our pop music radio stations at that time that played singles, were AM.

What was the first Queen song issued on a 7" anywhere in a major territory, not to feature Freddie on lead vocals?

June 1974, Japan: The loser in the end
July 1975, USA: God save the Queen (does that count?)
