I have heard this before. Was it one of his catchphrases when doing an impression of Mr Micklewhite. Like sayine, not a lot of people know this but, then coming out with some silly fact.

The much-repeated catchphrase “Not a lot of people know that” was actually coined by Peter Sellers when he did an impression of Caine on Michael Parkinson's show in 1972. Eleven years later Caine was given the line to say as an in-joke in Educating Rita

Your Peter Sellers question the other day inspired me to watch said Parkinson show.

Another classic bit of Sellers doing George Formby, he could have possibly given Brian a run for his money on a ukelele. I guess this was his party piece back in the day

As an aside, I wonder how many people out there believe Keith Lemon is actually a real person, and not just another one of Leigh Francis's characters?

I know plenty of people who haven't got a clue about Bo Selecta and that Keith Lemon is/are related.

Not the Who, just one of them, the man who replaced Keith Moon, and also from Ron Wood's old band. Kenney Jones.
