One of my favorite authors Sharon Kay Penman. She wrote some of the best medieval fiction. She died yesterday of pneumonia.

Very sad. I read some of her books years ago, in fact it's one of the main things that piqued my interest in royalty.

She wrote a very good one about Richard the third. Totally dismantled Shakespeare's pro Tudor groveling account.

I'm sure in some circles it was. A long, long time ago, we used to watch his show on cable. Just basically got away from that, though, but did see him in clips from time to time. He had a long career. RIP, Larry.
