Picked up the Queen Forever one disc version when I was out Christmas shopping. Was only £3 at Fopp and skipped it at release in favour of the 2 disc

Can't say I play either very often.

It was one of those so called "themed" releases where they seemed to lose focus about a quarter the way through compiling it. Is it a ballads album or not? Is it a deeper cuts album, or not? If it isn't either of those, then what the fuck is it, exactly?

Today I bought myself a first press LP of Roger Taylor's first solo album; Fun In Space, from 1981. :) Finally :-D.

Listening to it as I write.

1A 062-64328
Printed in Holland.
EMI
1981 Raincloud productions

It don't know if there is any differences between this one and the UK version ? It says Made In Holland STEMRA on the label, and has a different number than the UK pressing, other than that, I don't know.

One thing I noticed is that they have used almost all of the vinyl for the music. Only 1cm without grooves
Not very often I see that on records.

P.S. Hello listeners. I hope you enjoy and have fun with this. My very own, album. I like it. If you don't, sod you!

P.P.S. 157 synthesizers.

Strange Frontier had a different running order on vinyl in the USA and Canada, so that one's worth getting if you are into things like that.

I have a UK, US and German original vinyl releases of Strange Frontier. from memory the German one is the same running order, but has a slightly different patterning/colouring to the sleeve, certainly on the reverse of the sleeve. I may be mistaking that for the US version but I'll check it out as there would generally have been a specific reason for me to have bought that edition too.

I have 2 copies of fun in space.
My original from release date that has a very lacquered inside sleeve and a more recent one that is more a standard paper finish but with all the same artwork.
I will check out where that one is from

Yesterday I found the Racing Champions Hot Rockin' Steel series Queen 1:64 scale Chevy Van with ANATO graphics on it and still in the original blister pack! It was released back in 1999 and mine is 1 of 9999.

Amazon!

Although I pre-ordered it last year so I assume I was pretty close the front of the queue and at one point the price was as low as £26 before we really knew what the book actually was so got myself a bit of a bargain too.
