Just got Queen on Air - 6CD edition

Getting ready to be disappointed

Some mailman thought that shoving the package in the mailbox was a good idea. It caused the mailbox door to be stuck and can't be opened until I could get a screwdriver to open it.

Looks nice though.

cheeky price of £207

Is this the first issue or the second pressing?

I did a sound quality review about the studio collection, viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7968

I would suspect its the second.
Appears to be pressed in Germany
I'm only a quarter of the way through so far and I'm comparing to my original first pressings from the olden days !

I was taken in by the temptation of the Bohemian Beer with a glass in a ridiculously oversized tin

Had some of that Bohemian beer out in Montreux, Norbert was selling it down by the statue, being fair, the other beer they were selling was FAR nicer.

The Bohemian lager is extremely bland stuff.

Being fair, we went out to Montreux on easyJet, so taking the beer back (or even the bottle, for that matter) in cabin luggage, was a bit of a non-starter.

DID get a cardboard four bottle carrier that they came in, though.

Is it the 'Greatest Hits' of beers? (Aimed at the most people possible whilst not satisfying the connoisseur!)

Close.

You could try jumbling the letters up on "Hits" perhaps!

Quite possibly the worst set of fake Queen signatures I've ever seen for sale on eBay, I haven't even got the heart to contact the seller. I did however contact the seller that had a genuine Freddie Mercury signature on a Gary Mullen photograph!!! :-D ;-)
