I have bought a lot of Queen stuff recently:

News Of The World 40th anniversary deluxe box set.
The Miracle (the latest vinyl pressing)
Innuendo (the latest vinyl pressing)
Made In Heaven (the latest vinyl pressing)
Flash Gordon (original first pressing vinyl record)
A Night At The Opera (original first pressing vinyl record)
A Day At The Races (1st japanese pressing vinyl record)
The Works (1st japanese pressing vinyl record)

And I have also pre-ordered the new We Will Rock You / We Are The Champions single that will be released on Friday!

What can I say? I love Queen, best band ever!!

A few of the record shops involved are doing an online "pre-order" as of midnight.

I guess if enough people order it that way, then the poor bastards who are stood queuing outside the shops at five in the morning, may well dip out. Seems a bit of a c*nt's trick, to me.

And that's pretty much what happened at my local participating shop.

They got about fifty copies in, and allocated 40 of them to be available for online purchasing. At 07:30, a half hour before the shop doors opened for the queue outside, the online shop was showing sold out.

The comparitively recent 12" remix of Roger's "Two Sharp Pencils".

Hmm, money well spent. I quite like it.
