How about giving us your review of the album after listening to it a couple of times? I seem to remember you saying somewhere you've never listened to it and I'd like to hear what you think of it. I love it by the way :D

I will do. I've listened quickly a couple of times, but not in any depth yet, although I can already see why people rate it so highly.

I and my pal bought Brian May mugs on the 98 tour and we were just waiting for the Then Jericho I think it was to come on and my other pal goes 'Hey, look, Brian's signed your mug' and I looked down, saw the 'signature' and acknowledged the 'joke' thinking it was just part of the design. But then I looked at the other mug my friend had bought and sure enough, no signature. On closer inspection it was obvious that the signature had been written on with a silver pen.

Now, the signature wasn't quite Brian's usual signature which you might excuse as the difficulty of writing on a curved shiny surface. Or it might not have been Brian who wrote on it at all.

*Someone* signed it 'Brian May' though but I'll probably never know for sure.

I think my latest Queen purchase was Brian's book, "A Village Lost and Found". It will be with me when I got to Philadelphia to have it signed by the man himself. :)

I just received Shove It as a late birthday gift.

I listened to the first seven tracks in the car this morning on the way to work.

Wow. Just...wow.

It's near painful to listen to - I've laughed outloud at some point during four of the seven songs so far.

Oh, Roger - what were you thinking? :P

I've bought the singles box no3. I don't buy anything too often but this one I had to get.

My $15 ebay "experiment" proved to be a success and this arrived in my mailbox yesterday afternoon! :onfire:

Spoiler! :

I listened to half on the way home from work this afternoon. So far, I'm impressed (which never happens the first time I listen to Roger's stuff!)

Good call. One of the few Queen related releases where you get two "new" versions of the already available album tracks, a Chris Thomas produced complete re-recording of Surrender, and a fairly good edited down remix of C'Mon Down, London Town. I know Pressure On also delivered this scenario, but when you look through the catalogue, it really didn't happen often enough.

Isn't that a grey market bootleg?

Pre-Ordained is worth purchasing if only to get to know the band Smile. Otherwise, the sound quality sucks. But where else are you going to find those original recordings with Tim Staffel singing lead vocals in the mainstream market? I bought mine at a Borders bookstore.
