S&M2 is out!

Listened to it a bit yesterday and this morning. I love the fact that the band wanted to include classical works that would appeal to metal fans. And they have a point, classical music can get just as heavy as any metal band...whether it be the concept, dynamics, instrumentation, etc. And to hear Metallica playing along to the Iron Foundry was pure awesome.

Also, the improv (I suspect it's mostly improvised) coming out of key orchestra members during The Unforgiven III was a super cool surprise. It worked really well and everything was orchestrated so beautifully.

I still need to get around to purchasing the blu-ray. Maybe later today. :)

No Leaf Clover...

I know it's like saying that "Citizen Kane" is the greatest movie ever made, but there's a reason for that. It is.

No Leaf Clover is the greatest Metallica song. I'll fight anyone who says otherwise!
