That is sublime. Thanks for posting it 👍
It's lovely isn't it? It was apparently done a while ago but ended up left on the shelf. So glad it finally got a release.

Metropolis, is really Calgary in Canada. About the only place of note in Canada I've ever been to.

What year did you go? I ask because it's only a couple of hours from me. My city has been in the news lately.

I guess 1989. Seem to remember it was November time, but the memory might be a bit foggy.

I stayed at the Delta Bow Valley, only one night, but I made a name for myself, getting banned from the airport, after using a baggage belt to fit blanks to anti ice my plane. It was like minus 20c, and I had typical UK winter clothes with me. I argued the case that there was fuck all ground equipment around to use, but they still escorted me off the airport for it.

You know what's funny? I've been in Alberta since 2005. The only times I have been to Calgary was for medical issues, last time was when my father took ill. I'd love to see the sights, I saw some of the Olympic part and the Saddledome from my father's hospital room window. That's it.
Alberta I have mixed feelings about, but I'd love to discover it more. But the weather, it's usually too hot or too cold, and it seems to be either summer or winter. We had only one fall season in my time here, five years ago.
I hope you enjoyed Calgary.

I miss Newfoundland, where i was born and raised. I've not been back there since 2007. Too long.

My city is going to have a piece on Global News.
ETA ~ It was about how COVID was so rampant here. Only 70+ active cases as of today.

First time I'd ever seen cars trailing electrical plugs from them.
