Leon Russell is always a solid choice. I still play two of his early '70's releases ("Carney" and "Leon Live") a few times a year plus he pops up on Spotify on a regular basis. Well done!

I LOVE Carney!!!

The Leon Live concert is so close to the Deep Freeze releases, one might mistake one for the other. Really good stuff and Deep Freeze did such a fantastic job on the video for the DVD it's like you're right there at the piano with Leon and watching the band play right in front of you, 1st row or on the stage with them. Great stuff!

I'm nearly certain that Tight Rope was the first Leon Russell song I heard.

I had already seen Mad Dogs & Englishmen at a venue somewhere. I had heard quite a few songs of his and Cocker's together and all the other music they played on that tour. Then came Carney. My favorite on there was This Masquerade but of course, there's Tight Rope, too - the flip side or the main side with This Masquerade being the B side. I loved and still do, Me And Baby Jane. But that sure is a sad song.

I sure wish this would quit being misattributed to others.
