Just purchased my first SHM-CD from Japan. The US version of this CD sounds great but the volume is too low for me. This Japanese remaster sounds much better. Seems like it should have been remastered years ago here in the US but it never was.

1972 Country Life (Atco 5383)
1972 The Best of Delaney & Bonnie (Atco)

Checking out "D&B Together", classic sound and energy.

The song "Only You Know And I Know" sounded familiar. Yep, it was a top 40 single but something didn't seem quite right. Ha, I googled about and found it was written by Dave Mason and I'm more familiar with his version! Great song.

Speaking of Dave Mason, he played with Tedeschi Trucks along with Leon Russell and Roberta Flack on a Mad Dogs And Englishmen Tribute concert. The world just keeps getting smaller and smaller, doesn't it?

Bekka & Billy was an American country music duo consisting of singer-songwriters Bekka Bramlett and Billy Burnette, who first worked together as members of Fleetwood Mac.[1] Their eponymous debut album was released by Almo Sounds in April 1997. While their debut single, "Patient Heart," failed to chart in the United States, it reached No. 96 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.

Entertainment Weekly gave Bekka & Billy a B rating, saying that if "Patient Heart" didn't become a big hit, Nashville was "asleep at the wheel."[3] AllMusic gave their album three stars, calling the duo "tailor made for stardom."[4] Vince Gill played guitar on the album, which featured a song written by Delaney Bramlett.

The duo went their separate ways in January 1998.
