Freddie Mercury 24th November 1991.

Serious discussion about the band known as QUEEN.

A sad day, indeed.

Sporting one of my NOTW T-shirts and rocking out to Sheer Heart Attack (the song). Trying to lighten the mood and instead celebrate his life.

It's amazing how much of an influence Freddie has had on me. Almost as much as my father! It's crazy. But I love and respect him so much. His music and words (even the disposable pop ones) have meant so much to me over the years.

Glad I'm here on the day.
He was a remarkable human being with remarkable talent. Never forgotten.

Or how I'll be saved
I'm no coward
But I'm not that brave
Rags are blowing
Rain's getting near
I'm done with running
And it's getting dark in here~

I was 10 when Queen first arrived on the scene in early seventies. Never followed them closely but still remember them. I can vaguely remember the headlines coming out in the late eighties. I remembered and followed enough to read all of the biographies when they came out and mourn his passing and have grown to respect and love the man and the legend.

Freddie Mercury. The world although emptier without him,is brighter because of him-
Still missed, still loved.
