Freddie was Freddie. Boy, how I admire, respect and thank the guy for what he gave us.

The man is immortal, much more popular today than he was in life. The movie has demonstrated that. I am so delighted the world has finally recognised Freddie for the incredible talent and character he was, and I loved the term in an article once that described his generosity of spirit. I think in time 24th November will become a global celebration of his life and his amazing gift to us.

Freddie was in musical terms well ahead of his time - that is what makes him immortal. He became the legend he wanted to become.
I hope that in the moments of greatest triumph he realised what a truly fantastic talent he was - and his band members.

But I feel sorry for him that he grew up in a time where it was (more) difficult to live the life he wanted without fear to be exposed to the public. Maybe he would not have led such a tumultuous private life that left him being surrounded by friends - but lonely.
"Now dears, this is where the opera section comes in!"

Great post and I agree with you.
~Godspeed little one~

Or how I'll be saved
I'm no coward
But I'm not that brave
Rags are blowing
Rain's getting near
I'm done with running
And it's getting dark in here~
