Where's Hernan got to? I was enjoying his posts regarding the Japanese and South Korean charts?

Hey Edwood, I'm here. In mid January, their catalogue started to lose some power, so I decided to stop posting the weekly charts as meticulously as before, but they are still doing fine, of course.

These are the stats for the period between February 11 and February 17:

Japan Comprehensive Albums (physical, digital and streaming)

8 Bohemian Rhapsody (15,891 equivalent sales)
17 Queen Jewels (5,389)
34 Greatest Hits (3,131)

The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack sold 12,026 physical copies and 2,141 digital copies or a combined 14,167.

Queen Jewels sold 3,414 physical copies and 1,557 digital copies, which is a combined 4,971; while Greatest sold 2,259 physical copies and less than 700 digital copies, so I estimate some 2,800 counting both formats.

Overall, the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack has managed to sell around 358,000 copies (physical and digital), whilst Queen Jewels and Greatest Hits have both accumulated sales in excess of 70,000 since last October.

In South Korea, after the massive sales in November and December, their albums suffered quite a predictable drop, selling less than 3,000 copies with their Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack in January. The grand total is still a massive 44,000 physical units there, which must be easily 50,000 counting digital sales (not published). This is a very strong figure.

The digital (for their individual tracks) and streaming numbers were, once again, strong in January, although below the level observed in November and December -again, this was totally expected-. Overall, their digital and streaming seem to have generated some 200,000 equivalent albums sales in January, compared to about 325,000 in November and 375,000 in December.

The great snapshot of Queen's Greatest Hits goes on: this week is at spot 37 of the Australian Album's Catalog, and it has achieved its fifteenth Platinum there, for sales surpassing 1,050,000 units.

Thanks for the detailed Japanese and South Korean info once again HUR!

So it looks reasonable that the OST will surpass 500,000 sales this year if it keeps going like this with even the decreases?

Im sure you're aware of the other info regarding Japan - they won the Gold Disc Award for the Western music category for selling more CDs, videos and internet downloads then any other artist.
505,824 albums sold, 189,729 downloads (I'm assuming these are digital singles sales?) and 94,338 music videos.

It looks like they will do very well there this year as well.
