Did anyone see the programme about Murray shown last night on BBC1? Absolutely wonderful tribute to the man.

Mercedes are bigging up the Red Bull threat.

It’ll be nice if they’ve actually managed to start the year off with a good car for once.

I think Merc have done a great job for the last few years, but I'd love to see a 2 or 3 team battle at the front. McLaren are looking good and hopefully the Ferrari engine will be back up to power.

Watched the first 4 episodes of Drive To Survive this morning. Very odd watching what was happening a year ago before it really kicked off.

Here's a thought.

Massa was World Champion for longer than Mazepin has raced in F1.

Good season opener. It’s still early days, but it does seem like the Hamilton-Verstappen battle might be on.

Glad McLaren seem to have maintained their progress too.

Totally agree. Also Ferrari - not back where they should be, but certainly running better than last year.

In one way I feel sorry for Mazepin and Schumacher, but on the other, this year takes the pressure off them to perform, they're only competing against one another, so they effectively get a 'free' year to learn how F1 works.

Rumour has started doing the rounds that Gene Haas is backing out of the sport and selling the team to, wait for it... Dmitri Mazepin.

Haven’t there been rumblings about Haas pulling out for a little while now? Definitely not the first time I’ve heard it mentioned.

On another topic, wasn’t the Imola GP bloody fantastic?
