I still think Riccardo Patrese hitting the wall of the pit lane, was one of the most jaw dropping moments in F1.

Williams have an interesting way of launching their car tomorrow - an AR app so you can see tge car at full size in your own living room.

The only problem for me is that, with 24 hours to go, it says the Android version is "Coming soon."

Apparently Porsche are looking to enter F1 on the basis that the next engine will use synthetic carbon-neutral fuels (per BBC News).

There's been rumours of them entering for a while now. I'd like to see that.

Yeah, this sounded a little more like they're actually discussing it seriously though. The concept of synthetic fuels has apparently lined up with the direction they're hoping to go.

It's probably headed towards Formula E bumper cars.

I’m pretty sure they’ve acknowledged going electric would kill what makes it F1, which is why they’re investigating synthetic fuels as an alternative.

Yeah, I think the FIA are keen to keep the two disciplines separate.

F1 and Fe will eventually converge, and I'm ok with that.

In the meantime, Fe's means of differentiation puts me off totally. The tracks. They're all narrow, soulless, fenced in, and not at all telegenic. When they're ready to unleash those cars round proper race tracks, I'm interested.
