Tokyo 2020 Olympics... in 2021.

So, it isn't Russia anymore, it's the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), sounds like the Urban Cookie Collective.

Congrats to ALL those medal winners and taking part for GB.

I sat up and watched both triathlons. Caught the highlights show last night. Love the Olympics.

I thought this one would be a bit half arsed, what with the pandemic, and trying to get through it.

But, it's really quite well organised and run, isn't it?

It is. Some of the TV coverage is noteworthy though. They literally interviewed almost everyone in Tom Daleys life.

Was it just the Australian broadcast that featured 'Teo Torriate' during the Tokyo opening ceremony?
It was just before the Olympic torch entered the stadium.
I was losing interest at about that point, but hearing it re-gained my attention!

I hope the whole world got to enjoy that moment too.

I think it was worldwide. I noticed it on the German broadcast as well!

There was a three part series recently shown in the UK telling the story of how we recovered from the disaster of the 1996 Olympics when we won one gold medal to the heights of 2012 and 2016.

I wasn't too sure how well we would do this time around but we seem to be doing well. For a country our size, we do well to compete with the likes of China,, USA and ROC.

Equally, Australia do exceptionally well, considering the head count of the population

Just watching the dressage final. Dorothy, the German lady, used an extended version of TSMGO as her accompanying music. Maybe her, and her horse deserve to win it, just for that.
