Adam was talking about wearing real fur. Why is that so hard for you to accept? He might not do it now but he had no problem with it in 2010. A lot of Glamberts were upset with his comment. If you can’t accept that he said it you need something and it’s not Adam.

That is perhaps the most disturbing things he's ever said. I don't think he thought before he said it. All I hope for is that he will...and others too...will never wear fur or leather again. Wishful thinking I know. I'm not lying when I say the fur and leather industry is an ugly business.

Did you care to look up afterwards, what was really meant with that one sentence? Because I didn’t see any of that here, only bashing. I‘m surprised that you‘re so fast with quoting such things about Adam, while I know you’re so much against it, when it comes to other artists.

I truly think Sam Smith broke barriers down these last few years in many ways. I look at it like this, Sam is well Sam, doing things their way. I'm thankful for it. They are out there changing the face of music and I think it cannot be easy for them to be so open as they are.
I'm a huge fan. Their journey has been fascinating to watch. How dull it would be without him and a few other artists in the past 10 to 15 years. Sam continue to evolve.

I don't think he has broken down any barriers of any worth though. And how has he changed the face of music? He hasn't done anything. He has just said that he doesn't identify as male or female - hardly brave or revolutionary. I don't know much of his music but from what I have seen of him I think he is pretty boring and predictable.

But, saying that, he still deserves to be who he wants without hatred being thrown at him.

Well, you never mentioned it here, although Sam wears it often. If you aren’t blind, you must have noticed.

Now you say, Adam tried to back pedal. That’s your personal interpretation of what was said. And it’s clear, that you always assume the bad.
The media decided to make a molehill out of a single sentence in a comment section. The meaning of that sentence wasn’t clear, because it was never an official statement or anything. Adam was only able to explain it later.
Hint: It’s not about being sarcastic (which he indeed often is, but that’s not the point here).
