It seems like Sam has received some hate. No one deserves to be spat at or attacked for being themselves.

I get that many people don't want to play the non-binary game (and many of them are so pretentious and sensitive) - myself included - but no one deserves to be treated in such a way. Sure, criticise the man and oppose the pronoun guessing game, but don't act like scumbags.

Sam has often received hate though. I'm sad they and anyone that goes through that.

Yeah, I mean I don't play the non-binary game at all and do not agree with it, but I do believe that everyone should be free to be exactly who they wish to be. And no one deserves hatred for simply being themselves.

I have to be honest and say I have absolutely no respect for him or any non-binary person. That is not to say I wish them any harm, because I do not and I have always believed people should be free to be who they want.

I have respect for the gay men and women, for example, who fought for their rights back in the day. Those who were on the frontline, getting attacked for simply standing up for who they were. But I do not respect non binary types at all.

I truly think Sam Smith broke barriers down these last few years in many ways. I look at it like this, Sam is well Sam, doing things their way. I'm thankful for it. They are out there changing the face of music and I think it cannot be easy for them to be so open as they are.
I'm a huge fan. Their journey has been fascinating to watch. How dull it would be without him and a few other artists in the past 10 to 15 years. Sam continue to evolve.
