Not us. It was being in the EU, that made us change most of that.
Pounds and ounces - sensible, gallons, quarts, and pints - sensible, miles, yards and feet - sensible. Ask a German what a 1/4 inch is, you might as well be speaking Chinese to them. £,S,D, the old currency was a bit of a nightmare, 240 pennies to the pound, wtf.
Rating motorcycles by CC capacity is very sensible though. I mean, 88 cubic inches, there's not many vehicle manufactures in the world that spec in cubic inches.

Joplin, Missouri newspaper headlines.
We're not talking any normal storms/weather, here. This is a very bad situation affecting at least half the USA, it seems.
Missouri is used to having a bout or two of ice and deep snow during each winter and I've never seen them call for conserving energy before, because of it. And my friend in Neosho hasn't been to work in a week because he can't get his car out of his driveway. That's 20 minutes south of Joplin.Utility companies, governors call on residents to conserve electricity, natural gas.

The largest refineries in North America were shutting down Monday because of arctic conditions that have cut electricity, water and fuel supplies across Texas. More than 3 million barrels of daily oil-processing capacity has been idled in the wake of the record-setting cold, according to consultant Energy Aspects Ltd.

Read warnings on other drugs and be shocked. This is a legiimate medicine, apparently. I am sure if someone has Rheumatoid Arthritis, they just may be prescribed this drug.Lord of all darkness wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 9:50 amIt can reduce inflammation in the lungs not conclusive and extreme side effects (See below). Sure masks and social distancing are the best ways to avoid contracting COVID but if a person comes down with it, this is something to consider. And you can't just go pick it up off the shelf. It has to be discussed with your physician AND agreed upon, first.

I think the point of the article is that if you're already on the drug it may have beneficial side effects - I don't think they're suggesting it should be taken as a preventative.
Also, it's dated as being published in June and updated in August, so more data may now be available.
