I'd like to think this country could look after itself, but recent referendums tell me otherwise.

The old sayings are still true, like how do you know when a politician is lying to you? Their lips move.

If Labour had it's way, all the railways would be already re-nationalised. And the £71,000 a year train drivers would have the treasury over even a bigger barrel. Without railway tickets costing even more, how are they going to find 15% pay rises for drivers? For over twice as much as I got fixing planes, you would have to think it's a bit ambitious. Where do they think the money would come from?

What a selfish scumbag rugby player Gareth Thomas is. Knowing he was infected with HIV but not telling his partner is unforgiveable and he should get a prison sentence. Tosser.

The Woke Brigade's nonsense moves ever forward. Now Tom Jones' Delilah has been banned from rugby matches because of its 'portrayal of domestic violence'. FFS. Humans are mental. Absolutely insane.

John Lydon loses his bid to represent Ireland at Eurovision. As I have always stated, that man is about as Punk as my dead nan; a pretender and nothing more.

Your dead nan was a punk rocker? Did she have the chain going between her ear, and her cheek, and ripped T-shirt? Good on her.

Whether they actually were or not, the Sex Pistols were considered the flagship for a movement. The things he's done since the 70s might raise a few eyebrows, Country Life butter, I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, etc, but then people might say making records with 5ive, and P!nk is hardly rock 'n' roll.

Bit of John Lydon trivia, he had tickets for the New York bound aircraft that unexpectedly planted itself in Lockerbie, but he missed his scheduled boarding time.

No, my dead nan is more punk than Lydon. Because Punk is not simply about wearing punk paraphernalia.

My point is that if you are going to pretend to represent a stand against the establishment and mouth off as much as that twat has over the years then at least respect your fans and audience enough to stick by your convictions. The mouthy, hypocritical speaker for the punk movement has since shown his real colours - and making a song for the Eurovision makes the man even more of an embarrassment.

Your point on Queen does not stand up. They did not do those things with Freddie around. Lydon was the lead singer and mouthed off constantly about how punk he and they were. Freddie was not around when Brian and Roger decided to play it strategically and keep the band's name in the public eye. I'll say it again - Queen with Freddie were more punk than Lydon and The Sex Pistols because they were original, did their own thing and were fearless. And they never professed to be anything there were not.

I'll quote Fred from Live Killers " The things you have to for money!"

Oh, yeah, the music business is...well...a business. And Fred liked his money.

Saying that, Queen is becoming more of a brand these days; a f*cking charms bracelet being the latest release. Let's pray they don't get as bad as Kiss and start selling bespoke Queen coffins!

I hope, and it is a hope, that they're programmed into making music available again, before they get into Crest condoms.

Well the guy that broke the Pfizer story is on paid leave. Looks like the employee at his own right wing organization is tired of his BS. Apparently he’s a big douche. Imagine that.
